The kids and I went up north to Leech Lake for Memorial weekend. Scott had baseball so he couldn't go with us. But my Grandma T. rode with us. It was nice to chat with her during the drive. And my parents went up too, driving separately. We all stayed at my uncle Mike and aunt Diane's place. Here's a bunch of photos from our weekend. Ryan had a blast and he didn't want to leave! We rode four-wheelers (I learned how to drive one), played baseball, threw rocks along the shore, took a boat ride, Ryan went fishing with Grandpa, Grandma, and Mark, we toured the new hotel in town, went shopping and got ice cream, had lots of ticks on us (ick), hung out by the fire, ate s’mores, etc. Lots of fun activities. We'll have to go back again this summer!

This is me, wearing Ryan's helmet. I could barely breathe it was so tight!

Playing some baseball, me and Ryan.

This was Grace's outfit for hanging out by the fire. It served two purposes... warmth and keep the ticks out!

That's Grace's little hand sneaking a marshmallow...

RYAN'S BOATING & FISHING ADVENTURE...
Ryan got to drive uncle Mike's boat. Then he went fishing, and caught a big Northern, in grandpa Skip's boat. He was a little scared to stand right next to his fish for a picture though. Afterwards, he was nice and let his fish go but the next day he thought back on the experience and got upset that we didn't keep the fish and eat it....
Grace is conked out on my lap. Looks really comfortable for her!
