This year Thanksgiving was at the Tommerdahl house. We switch off every year. One year with the Hackett's. One year with the Tommerdahl's. And this year was pretty exciting and surprising. We showed up at my parent's house and as we walked in the door my sister Kelsey and niece Sienna were standing there. They flew in from Alaska that morning to surprise everyone. It was awesome. I just looked at them and said, "What." I couldn't believe they were here, but I was so glad they were. They stayed all weekend and we got to hang out with them a lot. We had a good meal, the kids got rides on Dad's four-wheeler, and we went to the tree farm to pick out Mom & Dad's Christmas tree. It was good family time together.

New Gopher Stadium Tour

This past November (2009) Scott and I, and some other UMD alum friends, were invited to watch the UMD vs. Gopher hockey game at the new Gopher football stadium. We also got to tour the stadium. Pretty cool. The locker room was impressive, and it's shaped like a football (apparently just like the Packer's locker room). We got to walk out on the field too. I would love to see a game there someday.
